Rivendell offers a beautiful home from home, complete with a garden room packed full of games and activities for kids. A welcome basket is waiting for you when you arrive full of local treats to get your holiday started.

Our holiday home is full of everything you need for a cosy Cumbrian escape. The kitchen is well equipped for six guests, and there is complementary Wi-Fi throughout. Spend your evenings together warm and cosy by the log burner, playing games and chatting about your days spent exploring the local area.

Rivendell has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and is pet friendly. When you arrive, all your beds will be made, and fresh towels will be waiting for you. There’s also a utility and drying room that comes in handy if the weather hasn’t been kind!

There is roadside parking for up to six cars at the side of our holiday cottage. Or, if you want to leave the cars at the house, you can use the bus stop with regular collections for Cockermouth and Keswick. We also have plenty of space for secure bicycle storage if you’re visiting our lovely part of the world on a cycling holiday.
